Mary Neech

We couldn’t be prouder that Mary has been with AB since the start of her legal career. Her amazing technical skills make her a true legal all-rounder, and an invaluable member of our team.

She’s spent her time at AB across financial services, litigation and general commercial work - from AFSL advice and shareholder agreements through to debt recovery litigation and civil claims.

An academic superstar, Mary consistently excelled in her studies at the University of New England, graduating as a Vice Chancellor's Scholar and ranking as the top student in multiple classes. Along the way, she also received the School of Law NSW Bar Association Ethics Prize. Mary remains active on the university’s law faculty as a casual academic.

Mary holds herself to exceptionally high standards - both in the quality of her work and the way she goes about it. She believes there’s a right way to do every task, no matter how small, and brings that same rigour and integrity to every file that crosses her desk.
